It seems obvious​ (to me) to label the colors starting first with the variable name, although in my experience agency-side, designers only provide the hex values when delivering a (static) style guide. This is surely because our designers don’t do front end (and we have separate devs if we’re also building out the thing). So I’m curious about your thoughts on the designer defining the Sass variables upfront…is that a no-no, or would that just make things easier during “handoff” (which is a dirty word for me but that’s another conversation!)?
