YEP. This is the scenerario I’ve run into the most with any interaction design work. Putting together flows & click through prototypes have saved me from putting out janky interactions plenty of times. As designers, we can sometimes fall into the trap/bad habit of NOT doing these things (rushed work, other team members who don’t see the value of doing them, etc.). There will always be an issue of folks underestimating the thought that has to go into design details. Sketching out flows & visualizing the interactions, if even to gut check “quick” designs, can even help demonstrate to your team just how (deceptively) complicated the work might actually be.
